Lake Francis Case is an original indie folk project born from a place where nature and something like divinity converge. The name carries a story — one of stillness, wonder, and the kind of magic that only reveals itself when you’re paying attention. The music follows from that same awakening: songs about time, the natural world, and the mystery of being human.
Live, Lake Francis Case is a fully present, listening-room experience. Drawing on the sweeping atmospherics of Iron & Wine and Bon Iver, the otherworldly storytelling of Loreena McKennitt, and the emotional precision of Tori Amos, the sound is layered and intentional — acoustic guitar and female vocals at the core, expanded by cajón, harmonium, banjo, electric guitar, and bass. Every instrument earns its place.
Lake Francis Case can be booked in three configurations: as a guitar and cajón duo for the most intimate settings; as a folk acoustic trio for a fuller, layered sound; or as a plugged-in full band with electric guitar and bass for something considerably more powerful and rock-leaning. All three live under the same project — same songs, same heart, different voltage.
Available for full headline sets (up to 3 hours) or as a support act. Best suited for listening rooms, intimate venues, folk and acoustic festivals, arts spaces, and any stage where the music is the point — for rooms that listen, and leave changed.
